daydreaming

Photobucket

Guess where I wish I was today?....and who I wish I was there with!

:-) miss you...xoxo

top of the muffin' to ya!

mmmmmm...muffins

*warning*-this post is full of totally randomishness...yes, this is how my brain works.

So, that whole ooohhh my eyelashes are so awesome thing, well...they were only super awesomish yesterday...today...uhh not so much.

I really wish I was still in bed right now....or that I could just take a nice hot shower alone without Bella busting in and taking over....ahhh..two more days and I get a much needed break (she's headed to her Dad's house on Thursday..:-)

Bella told me this morning that she want's a baby sister! I told her that my body can't make babies anymore and to this she responded, "But, your stomach is fat!"....oh how I love my children!

I have nothing left to watch on evening tv except Stylista...and that's not saying much. PR is over, ANTM is over, TD is over...sigh..it's all Christmas crap for the next few weeks I suppose.

The one positive highlight of this post...I heart the new espresso truffle drink at Starbucks...mmmm..yumm. Plus, consuming them will surely help me fit into all of my winter cloths I am sure of it!..

i survived!

Back to work!....yep, 5 days off is plenty enough for me. I love my children, I love relaxing and watching movies...but (omg I can't believe I am saying this...) only in moderation.

The girls and I stayed home for Thanksgiving, I slaved over the stove for 6 hours to prepare our feast. I was hell-bent on having my turkey come out looking picture caramel perfect. So, I took some tips from this lady on Oprah and marinaded the bird in a mixture of soy sauce, mustard, lemon juice and garlic. Worked pretty well actually, especially since I basted that damn thing every freaking 20 minutes. It was beautiful...I was hot..tired..and irritable..but my bird was gorgeous...lol Pies, stuffing, green bean casserole (Paula Dean's recipe..omg the best EVER), mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, cranberry sauce...it was all wonderful! My incessantly dysfunctional need for control, order and perfection was in full force as I prepared our amazing meal...

Of course my little heathens didn't appreciate any of it. They bitched....oh yes..they bitched..as usual. We had a butt load of left overs, and I was the only one interested in having a reheated version of our feast again the next day. Blah, damn kids...we spent a great deal of time watching all the Christmas movies that the networks love to flood into their programming schedules this time of year and in between I managed to get the house cleaned and didn't drown my children ...so I guess it was a successful holiday.

But seriously, the best part of having 5 days off....no make up! My eyelashes had enough down time to get full and healthy again so this morning I put on my mascara and my eyelashes freakin' ROCK today! Yes, this really is my life!
